Fungicides

With any fungicide, please make sure you read and follow all the directions on the label, keep it away from animals and children, check to make sure your municipality allows its use, and ask staff if you have questions about how to use it or require advice on integrated pest management.

GREENEARTH Bordo Copper Spray

 

Mixing Ratio:

​

According to Label.

​

Controls: Anthracnose, Blights, Leaf spots, Mildew and Molds on fruits, vegetables and ornamentals.

 

DIRECTIONS:
 

Green Earth BORDO Copper Spray is a wettable powder with improved suspension for control of certain plant diseases. Apply with hand or tank sprayer. Mix thoroughly with water/applied over 10 sq. m area. Agitate mixture while spraying. Thoroughly wet all foliage and stems. May apply up to 1 day before harvest.
 

WARNINGS:
 

Avoid application when winds are gusty. May stain paint, stone or brick. DO NOT apply product in a way that will contact adults, children or pets, either directly or through drift. DO NOT contaminate irrigation or drinking water supplies or aquatic habitats by cleaning of equipment or disposal of wastes. DO NOT apply to any body of water.

Miracle Gro Garden Defense

 

Application Rate:

The standard application rate is 1 L of product per 10 sq. m

Controls:

Anthracnose, Blights, Leaf spots, Mildew and Molds on fruits, vegetables and ornamentals.

 

DIRECTIONS:

Dormant and growing season liquid copper fungicide. Controls many plant diseases using low concentrations of copper. Biodegradable - decomposes to a form useful to plants & microbes. Do not apply within one day of harvest. Spray all plant surfaces thoroughly. For best control, begin treatment 2 weeks before disease normally appears or when weather forecasts predict a long period of wet weather. Alternatively, begin treatment when disease first appears.

DO NOT contaminate irrigation or drinking water supplies or aquatic habitats by cleaning of equipment or disposal of wastes. DO NOT apply to any body of water. GREENEARTH Garden Sulphur

 

Mixing Ratio:

​

15mL (1 tablespoon) per litre of water.​

​

Controls: Powdery Mildew, Rust, Black Spot, Scab, Black Knot and certain mites.

 

DIRECTIONS:

May be dusted directly onto plants or bulbs, or may be mixed with water for spray application. Add 15mL (1 tablespoon) to each litre of water and mix thorougly. Agitate the mixture while spraying to avoid settling.
 

WARNINGS:
KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN. Do not apply at temperatures of 24C or higher. Do not apply to cucumbers, melon and squash. Do not apply within 30 days of oil sprays. Avoid breathing spray dust or mist. Avoid contact with skin, eyes and clothing. Do not contaminate feed, food or any body of water. Wash thoroughly after use and before eating, drinking or smoking. Store in a dry ventilated place.

Doktor Doom Fungicide Concentrate

WARNINGS:

​

KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN. Use only in well ventilated areas. Wash hands before eating, drinking, chewing gum, using tobacco or using the toilet. DO NOT allow adults, children or pets to enter the treated area until sprays have dried. TOXIC to birds, small wild mammals and aquatic organisms.
